Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Inspire students and make a real difference in their educational journey as an onsite physical therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Step into a supportive educational environment, providing dedicated PT services 2-3 days per week. This contract opportunity allows you to foster growth and independence for students, playing an integral role in the school community.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and active Physical Therapist license Previous experience working within a school setting preferred Understanding of pediatric therapy, including IEPs and educational documentation Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student abilities and needs Genuine passion for empowering children and helping them meet their physical goals
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted onsite PT services based on individual student IEPs Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans tailored to school-aged children Collaborate with educational staff to integrate physical therapy goals into classroom routines Maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress Provide training and support to teachers and staff regarding positioning, mobility, and physical accommodations Communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress and recommendations
