Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) for the state Experience in hospital or outpatient therapy settings preferred Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and patient assessment skills Commitment to ethical practice and compliance with regulatory standards Dedication to patient and employee safety, including infection prevention and safe patient handling
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, develop, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients Design functional programs fostering effective community reintegration Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and peers Complete thorough and compliant medical record documentation Foster safe clinical and work environments by proactively identifying and mitigating hazards Develop and pursue individualized professional growth plans, actively engaging in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
