Key Responsibilities Assess patient needs and set individualized therapeutic goals based on comprehensive evaluations. Implement a variety of treatments and therapeutic exercises aimed at regaining strength, flexibility, and mobility, progressing as appropriate based on patient responses. Develop personalized care plans that incorporate innovative treatment techniques and modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Create and facilitate fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's health aspirations and medical conditions. Document all patient care services and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to provide a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation. Serve as a motivational force, encouraging patients through challenges and celebrating their progress. Promote a healthy lifestyle through education on strength training, balance improvement, and flexibility exercises. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on the geriatric population, providing specialized care for individuals aged 65 and older. This demographic often has unique physical and emotional needs due to age-related conditions, including arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and mobility impairments. You will ensure that your treatment methods are tailored to foster independence and enhance the patients' quality of life. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current Physical Therapy License in Virginia (required). Strong understanding of geriatric care principles and rehabilitation practices. Proficiency in developing and implementing individual care plans. Preferred Experience Prior experience working with geriatric patients, particularly in a rehabilitation or assisted living setting. Knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatment strategies aligning with physical and rehabilitation medicine. Experience with electronic health record systems and documentation practices. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from

USD 85,000

to 95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
