Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity providing dedicated Physical Therapy support within a school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite position is perfect for a skilled PT seeking a flexible contract role, working just 2-3 days per week. Make a meaningful impact by helping students reach their physical and functional potential in a collaborative, educational environment.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement IEP-driven interventions and documentation Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students Adept at working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to support student success Document all sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Offer consultation and training to staff and caregivers regarding mobility, positioning, and adaptive equipment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the student support team
