2801998043-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services to patients recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions. Evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and modify care according to patient progress and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate. Document care accurately and in a timely manner, complete required outcome measures and letters of medical necessity, and ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within payer approvals. Participate in student education and professional development activities. Follow state practice act, maintain licensure and required continuing education, and comply with organizational policies and safety procedures. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active Virginia physical therapy license required prior to start of assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document clinical care in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an outpatient clinic with varied patient populations. Experience supervising students or assistant-level staff. Familiarity with functional outcome measures and letters of medical necessity.
Assignment Details Schedule:
Clinic operates Monday-Friday with varied hours; clinic posted hours include Monday 10:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Tuesday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Wednesday 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Thursday 10:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Position is full time, 40 hours per week; exact schedule determined based on patient access needs.
