Work Environment This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Leesburg, Virginia, known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong team spirit. You will find yourself working alongside two other skilled physical therapists in a collaborative environment, focused on shared goals of patient-centered care. Our practice serves primarily orthopedic cases and encourages the use of advanced practices, ensuring you have the resources needed to facilitate effective treatment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' individual goals and customize treatment plans accordingly. Provide one-on-one patient sessions, dedicating approximately 40 minutes per patient to ensure comprehensive care. Employ evidence-based treatment techniques to optimize patients' mobility and functional capacity. Implement cost-effective solutions that may reduce reliance on medications and obviate the need for surgical interventions. Design and lead tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they actively participate in their recovery process. Evaluate patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to meet evolving needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Maintain precise documentation of all patient interactions and treatment services provided. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient demographic includes a diverse range of individuals, from athletes requiring rehabilitation to those recovering from surgery or managing chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will play a critical role in helping patients rebuild their strength and independence, guiding them through challenging recovery phases while fostering an environment of encouragement and support. Qualifications Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred. A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia is required. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential. Knowledge of current therapeutic processes and techniques. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients from various backgrounds. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements. Preferred Experience Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Athena Health, to streamline patient documentation. Background in developing sports medicine protocols is advantageous but not mandatory. USD 80,000
