Qualifications and Experience Desired:

Valid Physical Therapy license Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation Exceptional communication and organizational abilities Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles Current CPR certification is a plus

What You'll Do:

Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of students referred for physical therapy services Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support students' needs in the classroom and school environment Document progress, maintain accurate and timely records, and participate in IEP meetings Instruct staff and caregivers in proper techniques to support students throughout the school day Provide direct therapeutic interventions and consultative support within the assigned school(s) Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in pediatric and school-based PT Working in this educational setting, you'll have the opportunity to see firsthand the positive impact your skills can have on students' daily school experiences.
