Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as an onsite Physical Therapist, working within a supportive educational environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, collaborating with fellow school professionals to nurture growth, independence, and success. This is a contract position offering flexibility, with an expected commitment of 2-3 days each week.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license. Experienced in providing PT services within a school setting or with pediatric populations. Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' unique needs. Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing a varied caseload.
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering direct physical therapy services to students onsite, supporting their mobility and participation in school activities. Assessing and monitoring student progress, documenting outcomes, and making data-driven recommendations. Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate PT strategies into daily routines. Attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing expertise to support student goals. Adhering to all school and district policies, as well as ethical and professional standards within the field of physical therapy.
