Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join the outpatient team. This position provides coverage at outpatient centers and treats primarily neurological conditions. Candidates must have weekday availability to align with our outpatient clinic hours. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. Qualifications and Skills Experience/expertise in outpatient rehabilitation Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required. Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required. Healthcare professionals CPR certification required. Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
