Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Vienna, Virginia. As a full-time practitioner, you will be vital in partnering with patients on their journey to recovery, helping them regain motion and achieve their personal best. About the Organization At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Our well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed with sports medicine in mind. We primarily accept private medical insurance, ensuring our patients receive the best possible treatment options. Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to fostering a collaborative healthcare environment. Work Environment This position is full-time and onsite, allowing you to work directly with patients in the home care setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will interact one-on-one with clients in a supportive and well-structured environment that values patient engagement and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address patients' physical capabilities and health goals. Provide treatment to 2-3 patients per hour, utilizing your expertise in manual therapy and exercise. Create tailored care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, ensuring cost-effective interventions. Develop fitness and wellness programs specific to individual patient needs, focusing on promoting overall health. Monitor and document patient progress, communicating effectively regarding adjustments to care plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and treatment efficacy. Utilize EMR software (such as WebPT) to track patient data and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Encourage patients during their recovery journey, providing motivation and support to achieve optimal functionality. Implement preventive strategies to reduce reliance on medication and minimize the need for surgical options. Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, many of whom are recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will work with diverse age groups, helping them regain mobility and independence. Your efforts will significantly impact their rehabilitation, guiding them toward a healthier lifestyle through targeted therapy strategies. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. Must hold a current Physical Therapist License in the state of Virginia, with no board actions or disciplinary records. Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. Familiarity with EMR systems, especially WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a healthcare team. Proven track record of developing personalized treatment plans and fitness programs. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 100,000
