Position Overview Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and qualified Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Vienna, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive outpatient environment, focusing on helping patients recover, regain motion, and achieve their peak physical capabilities. You will play a crucial part in enhancing patients' overall quality of life through innovative treatments and rehabilitation programs. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including a spacious 5000-square-foot sports medicine center designed to facilitate optimal rehabilitation and recovery outcomes. Work Environment This Full-Time position is an onsite role where you will collaborate closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Working out of our well-equipped and modern outpatient office in Vienna, VA, you will engage in a collaborative work culture focused on enhancing patient care through shared knowledge and expertise. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans. Manage an efficient caseload of patients, typically seeing one individual per hour, optimizing your time to deliver tailored interventions. Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective treatments aimed at improving range of motion and mobility. Explore and implement non-surgical treatment options to reduce reliance on medications. Develop individualized comprehensive care plans, integrating various treatment techniques and modalities. Create customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals. Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment, focusing on maximizing their functional capabilities. Assess treatment outcomes regularly, documenting patient progress and maintaining open lines of communication with the patients and other healthcare professionals. Engage in continuous clinical documentation using the WebPT EMR Software to ensure accurate patient records. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist at Willow Bridge, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on tailoring rehabilitation services to meet the unique needs of each patient, encouraging a proactive approach to their health and recovery. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Virginia. A clean professional history, with no prior disciplinary actions against your license. Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques. Strong skills in developing and executing exercise protocols tailored to individual patients. Proficiency in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation. Preferred Experience While experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred, we value enthusiastic applicants with a strong willingness to learn and grow in their professional careers.
