Job Description
Outpatient Physical Therapist - Woodbridge, VA We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while helping individuals improve mobility, function, strength, and overall quality of life. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, and working collaboratively within a supportive clinical environment. Position Summary The Physical Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, and other physical conditions. This role involves developing personalized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing education that supports long-term health and recovery. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals Implement therapeutic interventions to improve function, mobility, strength, balance, and pain management Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Support patients throughout the rehabilitation process to achieve optimal outcomes Ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards Qualifications Required Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program Active Minnesota Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and patient relationship-building abilities Commitment to providing patient-centered care Preferred Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation Experience treating orthopedic and sports-related conditions Training in specialty treatment techniques or rehabilitation programs Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range Health insurance Retirement savings plan Life insurance Paid time off Continuing education assistance Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Career advancement potential How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume to: Careers@desortstaffing.com Please complete the online application to be considered.
