Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, orthopedic concerns, and other diagnoses affecting mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. You'll collaborate with families and our multidisciplinary team—including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists—to provide comprehensive, individualized care that helps children reach their full potential. This position offers scheduling flexibility, mentorship, and opportunities for ongoing professional development. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess each child's physical abilities, motor development, strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, and family goals. Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve: Gross motor skills Balance and coordination Strength and endurance Functional mobility Gait and posture Motor planning Educate and coach families on home exercise programs and therapeutic activities to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, physicians, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated, holistic care. Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain timely, accurate documentation. Create engaging, play-based therapy sessions that motivate children while supporting meaningful progress. Participate in team meetings, in-house trainings, and continuing education opportunities. Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture focused on exceptional patient care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT). Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of pediatric motor development and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for working with children and partnering with families. Self-motivated, compassionate, and committed to lifelong learning. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
