Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in a supportive educational environment. A Full Time Physical Therapist is needed for the 2026/2027 school year, working with both elementary and high school-age students in a contract position. This role is ideal for those who enjoy collaborating with educators and families to help young people achieve their full potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Physical Therapist license in the state or eligibility for licensure Experience or interest in working with school-aged children, particularly at the elementary and high school levels Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, educators, and staff Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Dedication to creating an inclusive and motivating learning atmosphere Previous school-based experience is beneficial but not required
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy to students in both elementary and high school settings Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into educational programs Monitor student progress, update records, and participate in IEP meetings Offer guidance and resources to staff and family members to support student success Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
