50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Praxis Physical Therapy is looking for a skilled, motivated and independent physical therapist to join our growing team in Bellingham. This position will begin at approximately 16 hours per week and gradually build to approximately 32 hours per week as the clinician's caseload develops. The long-term schedule may be structured Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. The position may include time at both our downtown Bellingham clinic and our satellite location inside Anytime Fitness in Barkley Village. About Praxis Physical Therapy Praxis is an independently owned orthopedic and sports physical therapy practice built around high-quality, individualized care. Our clinicians work one-on-one with patients, allowing time for thoughtful assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise progression, education, and return-to-activity planning. We treat active adults, recreational athletes, competitive athletes, post-operative patients, and people who simply want to move and feel better. Our goal is to provide excellent care without the pressure of high-volume scheduling or overlapping multiple patients.
Praxis has two Bellingham locations:

  • main clinic Our satellite clinic inside Anytime Fitness in Barkley Village Both locations provide access to excellent rehabilitation and strength-training environments.
Patients do not need to be gym members to receive care at our Barkley Village location. Why Join Praxis? Responsibilities Evaluate and treat orthopedic, sports, and post-operative conditions Develop individualized, evidence-informed plans of care Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular training, and patient education as appropriate Progress patients from rehabilitation into strength training and return-to-sport activities Use objective strength and performance testing to guide clinical decisions Complete documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals Help build and maintain a consistent caseload through excellent patient care and community engagement Contribute positively to a supportive, professional, and collaborative clinic culture Qualifications Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Current Washington State physical therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one Strong interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-education skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with the Praxis team Interest in strength training, return-to-sport rehabilitation, manual therapy, or performance testing is preferred New graduates with strong orthopedic or sports interests are welcome to apply Board certification, athletic experience, strength and conditioning credentials, or advanced manual therapy training is valued but not required Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly compensation of $48.50
