Job Description

Overview Physical Therapist, General, Davenport, WA — travel assignment begins 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks.
Weekly pay range:
$1,642-$1,752 per week.
Guaranteed hours:
32 per week.
Shift:
5x8 days. This position supports patient rehabilitation with a focus on restoring function after injury or surgery, with an estimated mix of outpatient care (about 90%) and inpatient care (about 10%).

5x8 days Start date: 09/08/2026 Setting mix: approximately 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient Assignment support: Healthforce Healthcare LLC provides dedicated recruiter and coordination assistance Responsibilities Consult with patients to understand condition, symptoms, and medical history; review referrals Assess movement dysfunction and develop individualized, goal-directed treatment plans Implement rehabilitation protocols including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate Provide patient and family education; instruct on home exercise programs; promote safety and functional independence Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, plans, progress, and outcomes; communicate with the care team Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate care Demonstrate professional communication and cultural sensitivity with patients, families, and team members
Requirements Education:
Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Licensure:
Current Physical Therapist license in Washington state
Certification:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Experience:
Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital/inpatient setting
Skills:
Documentation proficiency, strong verbal communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care
