$48.66 - $77.84 per hour Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in evaluating and treating spine and extremity conditions, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based care. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, including patients recovering from surgical procedures such as arthroplasty and arthroscopy, as well as individuals requiring sports rehabilitation and return-to-activity programming. The successful candidate will possess advanced skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, enabling them to develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and functional outcomes. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires effective collaboration with referring providers, interdisciplinary team members, and patients. In addition, this position calls for a professional who is proactive in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal referral sources, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered care environment.
Primary Duties:
Performs individualized evaluation and ongoing assessment related to the patient's condition, addressing special needs and behaviors. This will include, but is not limited to, assessment of range of motion, strength, mobility, coordination, transfers, gait and other activities of daily living. Develops treatment goals, in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, that are time specific and result in discharge of the patient to his home environment attaining the highest level of function possible. Develops the treatment plan and revises as necessary from the goals set by the interdisciplinary team in coordination with the physician, the patient and the family. Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED
for the position: Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Washington Baccalaureate, Master's Degree, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire Knowledge and training in the various needs of these patient populations DESIRED for the position: 2 years of experience outpatient rehabilitation OCS or SCS Board Certification Dry Needling Endorsement (WA)
