Team Structure, Support, and Clinical Scope The Acute Care Physical Therapist will report to a Rehabilitation Services Manager within a supportive Ancillary Services leadership structure, surrounded by friendly nurses and a diverse care team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, hospitalists, case managers, respiratory therapists, and social workers. With dependable rehab tech assistance and mentorship, the Acute Care Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat varied inpatient populations (post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary), champion safe early mobility, refine discharge planning, educate patients and families, document with precision, and contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, process improvements, and evidence-based initiatives.
