Doctors of Physical Therapy Onsite is looking for a physical/occupational therapist to partner with a leading American manufacturer in a state-of-the-art industrial setting. Focus is on injury prevention, coaching employees, and industrial testing. DPT has helped keep thousands of workers safe from injury by providing innovative solutions in the field of environmental health and safety. We offer thorough onboarding, training, and mentorship. No productivity requirements; the focus is on keeping workers healthy Injury management, screening, and prevention performed in an industrial setting A member of a nationwide successful team of industrial therapists Monday-Friday schedule Responsibilities Assess symptoms of musculoskeletal soreness and provide treatment within OSHA First Aid Guidelines Provide early intervention assessment and care Coach employees on optimal body mechanics and work postures Identify and assess ergonomic areas of concern and recommend solutions to lower risk Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based PT care Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult with safety team, plant management, production supervisors, and other stakeholders Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Document patient care services Skills Proven work experience as a physical therapist Intensive education and clinical expertise Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy Who we are: Doctors of Physical Therapy was founded in 2005 by a physical therapist, with the main goal to consistently help patients achieve faster, long term relief.
