Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' physical development and wellness in a full-time, contract position as a Physical Therapist. This opportunity offers you the chance to provide care and therapy for students during a maternity leave coverage, beginning in January. With a primary focus on helping students reach their highest potential, you'll collaborate closely with educational teams to create nurturing and effective therapy solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Washington State Experience providing PT services in a school setting preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP development and participation Strong organizational and documentation abilities Genuine passion for supporting the growth of children and young adults
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Complete assessments, design intervention plans, and maintain accurate records Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel Support students in developing functional motor skills to optimize their participation in the school environment Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal planning and progress monitoring Adapt therapy techniques and interventions based on individual needs and educational goals This full-time position offers you the chance to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, supporting students' progress during an important time in their educational journey.
