Job Description

Looking for a dynamic opportunity to make a direct impact on student success? A contract position is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide essential support in a K-12 setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role involves working with a diverse student population (approximately 25-30 students) across multiple locations within the district, ensuring a rewarding mix of collaboration and independence.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Physical Therapy (PT) license, or willingness to obtain before the start date Fingerprint clearance through OSPI, or open to completing this requirement Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but dedicated new grads are welcome to apply Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Committed to providing services exclusively onsite (no virtual work) Able to manage a K-12 caseload and work across different sites within the district
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to support the academic and functional growth of students in grades K-12 Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into students' educational programs Consult with school staff on accommodations and equipment needs to support student participation Travel between school sites within the district as needed Enjoy consistent hours with a capped caseload, ensuring you can focus on quality care.
