Job Description
About Cultivate Your Wellbeing Cultivate Your Wellbeing is a growing, privately owned pelvic health physical therapy practice with locations in Mequon and Brookfield, Wisconsin. This position will be based at our Mequon clinic with potential to grow to both locations if the candidate prefers. We provide individualized pelvic health physical therapy for women, men, and children experiencing pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, pregnancy and postpartum symptoms, pelvic organ prolapse, pain with intimacy, core dysfunction, and related musculoskeletal concerns. Our one-on-one, 60-minute appointments allow our physical therapists time to listen, educate, provide hands-on treatment, and develop a plan specific to each patient's symptoms, goals, and life. Our approach is evidence-informed, education-first, and whole-person. Treatment may include manual therapy, visceral and neural mobilization, dry needling, breathing and pressure management, pelvic floor coordination, mobility, strengthening, and individualized exercise. We also offer private pilates classes. We are committed to creating an environment where patients feel heard, comfortable, and supported—and where clinicians have the time and autonomy to provide thoughtful, meaningful care. About the Position We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist with pelvic health training and clinical experience who is excited to join a collaborative, growing, cash-based practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, self-motivated, dependable, and committed to continued learning. They should enjoy building relationships with patients, thoughtfully problem-solving complex symptoms, and providing care that considers the whole person rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or isolated body region. Experience treating pelvic pain is strongly preferred, as well as experience with pregnancy and postpartum care, bladder and bowel dysfunction, sexual health concerns, men's pelvic health, or pediatric pelvic health. This is a part-time, hourly position based at our Mequon location. The schedule is flexible and may grow over time based on clinician availability and patient demand. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care. Provide one-on-one pelvic health physical therapy treatment. Support patients with pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, pelvic organ prolapse, pain with intimacy, core dysfunction, and related musculoskeletal concerns. Educate patients about their symptoms, treatment options, movement, exercise, and self-care strategies. Create individualized home programs that are realistic, meaningful, and aligned with each patient's goals. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Communicate and collaborate with referring providers and other members of a patient's healthcare team when appropriate and authorized by the patient. Maintain patient confidentiality, professional boundaries, and informed consent throughout evaluation and treatment. Participate in team meetings, community education, referral relationship-building, and occasional practice marketing activities. Maintain an active Wisconsin Physical Therapist license and complete required continuing education. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or equivalent physical therapy degree. Current Wisconsin Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure. Pelvic health continuing education and clinical experience. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Commitment to compassionate, inclusive, evidence-informed, and patient-centered care. Interest in continued professional growth and advanced pelvic health education. Preferred Qualifications Experience evaluating and treating pelvic pain. Experience with pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum recovery, bladder or bowel dysfunction, sexual health concerns, men's pelvic health, or pediatric pelvic health. Training in manual therapy, visceral manipulation, dry needling, pain science, or other complementary treatment approaches. Experience working in a private-pay, out-of-network, or relationship-based healthcare setting.
