Edenbrook Sheboygan a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!
Position:
Full-Time Physical Therapist Take advantage of our $5000 Sign on bonus!
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Skills Proven work experience as a physical therapist Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy Reasons to join
