Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support our clinical team in providing exceptional patient care. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, assisting with patient services and supporting therapeutic activities across outpatient, inpatient, and post-acute care settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through attentive support and care. Duties Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions Support patients during exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper technique and safety Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment Document patient progress and session details accurately under supervision Help with transportation of patients within the facility as needed Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient questions and ensuring comfort throughout therapy sessions Support administrative tasks such as scheduling and filing documentation related to patient care Adhere to clinic policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures Qualifications Prior experience in outpatient, or clinic settings preferred, especially in orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care environments Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and post-acute care practices beneficial Strong patient service skills with a caring attitude toward diverse patient populations Ability to work effectively in inpatient or outpatient settings with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and assist patients effectively Previous hospital or clinic experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in gaining healthcare experience Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment
