Physical Therapy Aide/Technician Compensation:

$16.90/Hr Employment type: Part-Time (roughly 10-20 hrs/week)

Requirements:

College Graduate applying for Grad school or finishing up college or undergraduate who wants to go into healthcare. Training onsite. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking aide/technicians for our clinics. We prefer to employ aides who are seeking to move on to graduate school or are seeking a future in the healthcare industry. Meet your graduate school and program requirements for accumulated hours in a healthcare setting, while also earning wages. We also assist our aides in getting into their programs by writing their letter of recommendation and using our contacts at different Universities. We spend a lot of time and energy in training and educating our aides on proper rehabilitation and exercise.

Basic Functions:

Primary:

To assist patients with exercises and gym activities as instructed by the Physical Therapist.

Secondary:

To maintain the clinic, including: clean and fold laundry, keep all clinic areas stocked with proper equipment, clean treatment tables and equipment after patient use, clean modality carts, gym equipment/machines and gym tables throughout the day, keep gym neatly arranged with emphasis on safety, perform daily cleaning tasks When working with patients, you will trained to perform the following modalities:

• Ice wrap
• Ultrasound
• Hot packs
• Electrical Stimulation Candidate must be highly professional, personable and share our commitment to patient care and service.

Must be extremely dependable and reliable.
