Overview:
Break Free Physical Therapy is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support our clinical team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will assist physical therapists in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence through rehabilitative therapy. Key Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with patient care during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort. Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Guide and support patients through exercises and mobility tasks as instructed. Educate patients on proper form and safety protocols for therapy activities. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure smooth, effective care delivery.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting is preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and human physiology is a plus. Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations is beneficial. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism with diverse populations.
