Physical Therapy Aide Job Description Overview of the Job Clegg & Guest Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal physical therapy aide candidate will have experience or education in exercise science, kinesiology, or past relevant experience in patient care. Responsibilities This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt quickly, and a positive friendly attitude. The function of the aide is to assist the physical therapist in daily functions of the clinic. This includes, but is not limited to: Preparing the treatment area and equipment for treatment Cleaning the work area and equipment after treatment Monitoring clinic schedule and anticipating clinic/patient flow Communicating with Patients, Physical Therapists, Practice Manager, and additional support staff. Additional duties include daily clinic cleaning and organization, as well as assisting office with basic office tasks. Experience or education in Exercise Science or Kinesiology is preferred.
