Physical Therapy Aide Maximum Health Physical Therapy Locations:
Long Valley & Budd Lake, NJ Maximum Health Physical Therapy is a growing outpatient orthopedic practice seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is interested in helping patients recover, regain mobility, and improve their quality of life. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Aide plays an essential role in supporting patient care and maintaining an efficient, welcoming clinic environment. Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas according to established procedures and therapist instructions. Welcome patients and assist them to the appropriate treatment area while ensuring they feel comfortable and supported. Assist Physical Therapists with treatment setup, including: Preparing hot packs and paraffin treatments Assisting patients on and off exercise equipment Supervising prescribed therapeutic exercises Monitoring patient activity and documenting walking time and distance Demonstrate the proper use of therapeutic equipment and reinforce therapist-directed exercises. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with clinic policies and safety standards. Clean and sanitize treatment tables and equipment between patients. Stock treatment areas and assist with general clinic organization. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed to support daily clinic operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience is not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
