Hours :
Mon/Wed 7a-12:15p; Tues 8:30a-12:15p, Thurs (morning or afternoon shift available), Fridays 7a-1p Being a PT Aide at Iron is a rewarding opportunity to support patients through the journey of recovery. Overcoming an injury can be challenging both mentally and physically. Our Aides play a critical role by demonstrating compassion and empathy while encouraging and motivating patients every step of they way. A PT Aide works under the direct supervision of the Doctor of Physical Therapy to complete the following responsibilities. Requirements Work well with a team of multiple doctors and receptionists Provide f riendly, positive customer service every single day Prepare tables and treatment area for patients Manage equipment (i.e., ladder, weights, balls, etc.) before, during and after sessions Follow detailed opening/closing procedures to properly prepare clinic Utilize software program to review and prep exercises for upcoming patients Retrieve ice or heat packs as needed Motivate , safeguard or a ssist patients during functional exercises Maintain a clean and organized environment at all times Occasionally check-in patients and process co-payments when receptionist is out of the office Previous Aide experience a plus. Adhere to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Must have ability to comfortably lift 30 lbs and work on your feet Maintain an active lifestyle that supports our belief in the power of movement and physical activity
Pay:
