Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Aide/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation facility. This energetic position combines hands-on assistance with physical therapy professionals and front desk responsibilities, creating a lively environment dedicated to restoring mobility and improving quality of life. You will be the friendly face welcoming patients, managing appointments, and assisting with therapeutic activities, all while maintaining a focus on patient service excellence and confidentiality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in physiotherapy, hospital settings, and post-acute care environments. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a seamless check-in process Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, setting up equipment, and assisting with manual handling and patient transfer methods Assist in patient care activities such as positioning, mobility support, and rehabilitation exercises under supervision Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment notes, and confidentiality of sensitive medical information Perform clerical duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling administrative tasks at the front desk Ensure safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injury Support hospital or outpatient team members with general clinic operations and maintain a clean, organized environment
