Duties Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient use Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises under the supervision of licensed therapists Support therapists with documenting patient progress and updating treatment records accurately Help manage patient intake processes by gathering relevant medical history and verifying insurance information Maintain safety protocols by monitoring patient comfort and responding promptly to their needs during therapy Restock supplies and ensure all therapy tools are sanitized and organized for efficient use Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient schedules and facilitate smooth clinic operations Skills Strong commitment to patient service and compassionate care delivery Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy Previous hospital or clinical experience, especially in inpatient or outpatient settings Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and sub-acute care environments Ability to assist with intake procedures and support patients through their therapy journey Experience working in hospital medicine or outpatient clinics is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients alike Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated patient support!
