Job Description

Physical Therapy Aide Position in Fremont Alpine Physical Therapy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic part-time physical therapy aide. This paid position includes mentorship, patient interactions, and education regarding the operations of an independently owned private practice. We can work with your schedule to be either mornings or afternoons/evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity for those that have an interest in pursuing a physical therapy or athletic trainer advanced degree, as hours can be used toward completing grad school applications. We have provided numerous letters of recommendation for our employees that have helped them with getting accepted into physical therapy graduate school programs. Mornings or Afternoons/Evenings Primary Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service
Front Desk/Administrative Duties:
Answering phones timely and professionally Appointment scheduling Data-entry and maintenance of patient electronic medical records Interacting & corresponding with doctors' offices and referral contacts Collecting insurance co-pays and account balances Submitting prior authorization for treatment Inventory of office supplies as needed Assisting with
Patient Care:
Exercise assistance as needed Modality set-ups as needed
Clinic Maintenance:
Tidying up common areas Ensuring patient treatment rooms are prepared for next patient
Laundry Skills and Attributes:
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Friendly demeanor Proactive problem-solver Can work well on a team, but also works well independently Quick learner of clinic processes and computer systems
Pay:
$21.30 - $30.00 per hour
