Knollwood Healthcare is a growing skilled nursing facility in Mobile, Alabama, seeking an energetic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding rehab team. We are not your typical nursing home. Our therapy program includes aquatic therapy utilizing our on-site swimming pool , giving our rehab team advanced tools to deliver exceptional outcomes. What We Offer:
Competitive pay: $35
  • 38 per hour (based on experience) $750 sign-on bonus PRN and Part-Time flexibility Aquatic therapy program (on-site pool) Supportive leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration Modern rehab approach focused on outcomes
Productivity Expectations:
Target productivity: 85-90% Balanced caseload with strong support staff Emphasis on quality documentation and measurable outcomes Collaborative scheduling to support efficiency We believe in productivity with purpose — quality care comes first.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under supervision of a Physical Therapist Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence Participate in aquatic therapy treatments when appropriate Accurately document treatments in EMR Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy, and families
Qualifications:
Active Alabama PTA license Graduate of accredited PTA program Skilled nursing experience preferred Strong documentation skills Team-oriented and motivated Join a facility that is growing, investing in therapy services, and committed to delivering measurable resident outcomes.
