Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Join Our Rehabilitation Team at Mobile Rehabilitation & Wellness Center! We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys helping residents regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence while working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence. Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other rehabilitation activities. Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document treatments, resident response, and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Educate and encourage residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to help residents achieve their highest practicable level of function. Maintain resident safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification, as required. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply . Why Join Us?
