Job Description

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant in Mobile County. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administer physical therapy treatments and therapeutic exercises as outlined in the patient's plan of care. Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and home exercise programs. Accurately document treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment. Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment according to established guidelines. Ortho experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate! Monday thru Friday job in an outpatient therapy setting. PTA license required. Full time and PRN opportunity available! Must take a pre-employment drug screen.
