  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Join our team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, where you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.
In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapists to deliver personalized care . Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient-centered care will contribute to successful recovery journeys for a wide range of patients, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and those recovering from injury or surgery. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while advancing your professional skills. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including exercises and manual therapy techniques. Provide direct patient care by guiding patients through therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility. Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately within medical records. Support discharge planning efforts by educating patients and caregivers on home exercises and ongoing care strategies. Help prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, safe environment. Requirements Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program. Completion of the required state licensure exam Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physiotherapy interventions. Familiarity with medical terminology used in healthcare documentation and communication. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
