1 Description American Traveler is seeking a PTA for an outpatient position in California, requiring a CA license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Outpatient physical therapy setting Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required 13-week contract Requirements Active California PTA license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Copies of all certifications required for consideration Additional Information Assist in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist May assist in the development of treatment plans, document treatment progress, and modify specific treatments within the established plan of care, in accordance with California state laws and regulations Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
