Responsibilities Provide direct treatment to residents under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and function Accurately document treatments, progress, and resident responses in the EMRParticipate in care planning, screenings, and therapy team meetings Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered goals Adhere to ethical, regulatory, and company standards of clinical practice Contribute to a positive, clinician-centered culture focused on outcomes and quality of life Required Skills Therapeutic exercise implementation Gait and balance training Functional mobility training Manual therapy techniques within PTA scope Use of rehab equipment and modalities Documentation in EMR systems Care planning and goal setting Patient and family education Safety and fall prevention Interdisciplinary team collaboration
