A Physical Therapy Assistant assists physical therapists to help patients with disabling injuries or conditions improve their range of motion and manage their pain. Helps patients learn exercises and teaches them to use therapeutic equipment. Works in the office of a physical therapist or in a healthcare facility.

Physical Therapy Assistant Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitative Services this position provides therapeutic treatment plans/interventions under the direction of the Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) for adult and geriatric patients disabled by illness or injury, with a goal of optimizing functional restoration and rehabilitation. Prior experience as Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current California Physical Therapy Assistant License required. Current BCLS (CPR) Certificate required.
