Job Summary Physical Therapy Assistants provide high quality, comprehensive and patient-centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic procedures according to the treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources, handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines, and clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel. Minimum Experience Requirement :
Excellent customer service skills. c.
Minimum License Requirement :
California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PTA by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions. BLS required. Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH. Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required. Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
