Qualifications Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state or national requirements. Proven experience in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility, or home health settings demonstrating versatility across care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy. Hands-on experience with physical therapy treatment implementation including manual therapy techniques like trigger point therapy. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices. Ability to operate medical equipment safely and proficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
