The PTA will work under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Implement selected treatment plans and interventions in a safe, effective, and technically competent manner Instruct and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional training activities Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist Identify patient needs while demonstrating compassion, empathy, and respect for individual differences Recommend modifications to treatment plans to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes Apply current evidence-based practices to restore function, reduce symptoms, and prevent injury Accurately complete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services Collect and record patient data and report findings in the medical record Participate in patient status reviews and treatment planning discussions Maintain compliance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards Stay current with continuing education and advancements in the field Qualifications & Skills Active and valid PTA license (required) Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation best practices Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities Excellent communication and patient instruction skills Strong documentation and healthcare administration abilities Open to work with all ages
