We're seeking per diem/on-call Physical Therapist Assistants to join a lively team of in-house therapists at a skilled nursing facility in Jackson! Our rehab team at the 140-bed boasts of an experienced team of professionals and administrative staff who are able to provide high-quality care and support to our residents and family members, while simultaneously supporting each other in our exciting, high-caseload setting.

On-call Key Responsibilities :

Implements and executes on established patient treatment plan under the supervision of licensed therapists. Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Provides timely documentation via the electronic documentation software as required that meet licensing, certification regulatory, reimbursement requirements and physician treatment plan. Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations. Communicates with patients, families and other clinical staff of treatment variations. Supports and participates in department operations and development. Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.

Qualifications:

Licensed in the state of CA as a Physical Therapist Assistant Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred, but not required. Able to use the computer for the purposes of accessing and utilizing electronic medical documentation.
