This position involves supporting licensed physical therapists in delivering quality patient care within an outpatient clinic. A basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is helpful in assisting patients effectively. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Key Responsibilities Support physical therapists with treatment sessions by setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities under therapist supervision. Keep the clinic clean, organized, and safe for patients and staff. Monitor and document patient progress, communicating any updates to the supervising therapist. Provide guidance to patients on proper exercise techniques and rehabilitation protocols. Help with front office duties such as appointment scheduling and maintaining patient records. Follow all clinic safety standards and procedures. Qualifications Preferred knowledge of anatomy and physiology to better understand patient care needs. Familiarity with medical terminology for effective communication in a healthcare setting. Prior experience in an outpatient or inpatient physical therapy environment is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and team members. Ability to work well within a collaborative healthcare team. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
