Job Summary Hencetek Staffing is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a busy Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic in Pinole, CA, Castro Valley, CA , San Carlos, CA , and Santa Cruz, CA . You will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on patient care, helping individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretching programs, balance training, gait training, and functional mobility activities. Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and state regulations. Collaborate with therapists and clinic staff to provide high-quality patient care. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Active California PTA License (required). Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred). Previous outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
