Key Responsibilities:

Assist in

Therapy Sessions:

Work closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function for patients.

Patient Care:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including exercises, stretches, and modalities.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress and outcomes of therapy sessions.

Educational Support:

Instruct patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home, ensuring proper techniques and compliance.

Equipment Management:

Set up and maintain therapy equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and safe for patient use.

Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.

Compliance:

Adhere to all legal and professional requirements, including HIPAA regulations and state licensing laws.

Qualifications:

Physical Therapy Assistant in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid California PTA license . Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Schedule:

Day shifts available, with flexibility based on patient needs and your availability.

License/Certification:

PTA License (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred)
