Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Newmed Health Center Rosemead, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $35 - $40 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Qualifications Bachelor's degree Patient care Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Full Job Description Our facility is currently looking for a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work with our physical therapists and current physical therapist assistants. Our responsive internal staff allows you to work closely with our therapists and take time for what is important for your patients. We strongly believe in collaborative work but also ensure that our physical therapists and PTAs retain their autonomy to provide individualized care to patients. The purpose of providing such physical therapy service is to help patients regain independence after damage caused by accidents, job-related injuries, diseases or the debilitating results of aging. The duties of the PTA will include, but are not limited to, the following: Promotion and maintenance of physical fitness to enhance the bodily movement related to health and wellness of individuals using physical therapy interventions. Therapeutic exercises. Manual therapy. Gait training. Neuromuscular reeducation. Pain assessment. Treatment modalities.
