Job Description
Job Summary Dorsa Chiropractic is a locally owned Denver clinic providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a high-energy, results-driven environment. Our services include chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy, dry needling, and shockwave therapy. Specializing in personal injury treatment, sports injuries, and wellness care, we focus on helping patients recover faster, move better, and achieve long-term health. We're looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and support our providers in caring primarily for auto accident and personal injury patients. This role involves providing supportive patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Duties Provide supportive patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Assist Chiropractors with Shockwave and Laser Therapy Create and post social media content for marketing Perform and guide patients through prescribed exercises and treatment protocols Educate and encourage patients throughout their recovery process Help maintain treatment flow and organization in a busy office Prepare and maintain therapy areas, equipment, and treatment rooms Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes Requirements Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) or equivalent credential from an accredited program Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercise techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate patients of diverse backgrounds Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Experience in physical therapy, chiropractic, sports rehab, or a similar clinical setting preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Positive, personable, reliable, and team-oriented
