Job Description
Join our team at Fyzical today! NO double booking, direct one-on-one treatment! Our team of Physical Therapists and PTAs provide services to patients who have neurological, orthopedic, and other health-related issues. The role is a hands-on, team environment, working together to help restore patients' mobility and independence. The position requires the successful candidate to have experience working with specific groups of people, including young adults and seniors, as well as experience using a wide variety of tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Explain patients' diagnoses and treatments, providing sufficient detail to allow patients to make informed decisions. Demonstrate proper application of therapeutic exercises. Demonstrate use of assistive devices, such as crutches and canes, to help patients ambulate safely and comfortably. Counsel patients on their need for treatment, home exercises, and assistive devices, reviewing potential benefits and risks. Inform patients about changes in their condition., including diagnosis; treatments; medications; rehabilitative services; risks; benefits; and prognosis. Discuss changes in therapy with the physical therapist and formulate a plan for periodic reevaluation of the patient.Job Types:
