A full-time floating Physical Therapy Assistant, (PTA), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Glastonbury, CT. The successful candidate will float to multiple facilities throughout the North Central CT region. Requirements:

Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation Work well with others in a team setting.

Good Faith Rate Range:

Qualifications :

A successful Rehab Director will: Ensure efficient and effective operations Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor Provide speech therapy services as needed. Be a licensed speech therapist or license eligible in the state where employed. Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.
